This private liberal arts college was founded in the 60s and later merged with the nearby Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu. This shirt sports the school's old mascot, the mongoose, a critter which is commonly found scurrying around the Hawaiian islands. Despite their abundance, mongooses aren't actually native to Hawaii, and the animals were originally brought over from India to protect sugarcane crops from rats.
