This cool tee is from a race that happened on a very special day in Hawaiian history. On July 11, 1991 the
Big Island of Hawaii experienced a total eclipse of the Sun. This eclipse lasted for nearly seven minutes, which is a length of time not expected to be exceeded until 2132!  

The eclipse was the most central total eclipse in 800 years, with a magnitude greater that any eclipse since the 6th century.
