This sweet vintage tee is from a solo concert featuring the talented British new wave musician Elvis Costello. This shirt commemorates a 1984 concert series titled An Evening with Elvis Costello. This tour was launched to help promote the singer's most recent release, his ninth studio album, Goodbye Cruel World. The album was recorded alongside his backing band, the Attractions, however, tensions between Costello and the band were beginning to rise. This led to his decision to embark on a solo tour for the first time since 1977.

Costello's next release, King of America, featured very little support from the Attractions, and his next album Blood & Chocolate wound up being the final collaboration between the pair for many years. Costello later reunited with the Attractions in the early 90s to record Brutal Youth. However, regardless of the deteriorating relationship between the singer and the band, Costello's 1984 solo tour was a hit among critics who praised his musical prowess and enthusiasm.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There are spots on the right side while wearing, see pics.
