This awesome vintage concert tee is for "the Godfather of Shock Rock" Alice Cooper, from his 1986 The Nightmare Returns Tour. The shirt perfectly illustrates Cooper's macabre sense of humor with a portrait of him in a guillotine. The Nightmare Returns Tour was launched after the release of Cooper's ninth studio album Constrictor, which featured the songs "He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)" and "Teenage Frankenstein" both of which were featured in the movie Friday the 13th Part IV: Jason Lives. This was Cooper's first tour since he went on the road to promote the album Special Forces in 1981. The Nightmare Returns tour helped to introduce Cooper's unique stage persona to a new generation.

Influenced by horror films, vaudeville, and garage rock in equal measures Cooper crafted his live shows to be a mesmerizing spectacle of shock rock. The tour for his next album Raise Your Fist and Yell took inspiration from slasher franchises like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street and even featured a hanging execution stunt that lead to a near fatal accident for Cooper, during rehearsals for his London leg of the tour.
