This humorous 90s tee features the iconic animated characters Beavis and Butt-Head. These cartoon teenage slackers took the 90s by storm when they appeared on MTV. The two characters were conceived and voiced by Mike Judge, who would later go on to create another popular animated series, King of the Hill. Beavis and Butt-Head first appeared in a short called Frog Baseball that was broadcast as part of MTV's animation showcase called Liquid Television. MTV later commissioned Judge for a full series starring the duo.

This t-shirt is meant to parody the 1991 drama film Backdraft, which starred Kurt Russell, William Baldwin, and Robert De Niro, and told the story of a group of Chicago firefighters investigating a series of arsons. This shirt re-imagines the film as Butt-Draft and shows Beavis and Butt-Head trying to man a fire hose. Interestingly all references to fire were cut from episodes of Beavis and Butt-Head, due to a 1993 incident in which a mother claimed that the series prompted her five year old son to set fire to their mobile home. Neighbors disputed the claim, by saying that the family didn't even have cable television that would allow the son to watch the show. MTV still chose to remove any and all fire references, although the writers would occasionally find ways to poke fun at this censorship.
