This awesome vintage ringer tee celebrates professional wrestler and actor Rowdy Roddy Piper, and it features a sweet lightning themed graphic that reads "Hot Rod!". Piper was a part of the World Wrestling Federation from the 80s into the mid 90s, before he moved over to World Championship Wrestling. His nicknames Hot Rod and Rowdy were given to him in reference to his Scottish heritage and trademark Scottish short temper. Despite the prominence of his heritage in his wrestling persona, Piper was actually from Canada, although his image was pushed further when he was billed as hailing from Glasgow.

Early in his WWF career, Piper was granted his own interview segment called Piper's Pit, which helped to set up many kayfabe feuds. Piper was an icon among 1980s wrestling, facing off against fan favorite opponents like Hulk Hogan and Mr. T, he is considered by many fans to be one of the greatest heel wrestlers of all time.

His entertainment skills from the ring extended into his acting career, most notably when he starred as Nada in John Carpenter's 1988 cult classic science fiction film They Live. Piper's iconic performance is often remembered for the line "I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubble gum". This line was actually conceived by Piper himself, who had originally written it as a potential verbal bit to use during his wrestling.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There is a repair on the front, see pics.
