This amazing little tee was made all the way back in 1969, in celebration of the Apollo 11 moon landing. The American space program, NASA, made history in July of 1969, when they launched the Apollo 11 mission. This was the first space flight to land humans on the moon, and this shirt depicts the first ever moon walk, which was performed by the astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. The pair landed on the moon's surface in the Apollo Lunar Module, Eagle on July 20th. Meanwhile people around the globe celebrated this stunning accomplishment.
