This sweet shirt is from the Broadway Show League, a historic softball league that was born out of an informal tradition from the 1950s. Back in the 50s, Broadway cast and crew members used to walk to Central Park to enjoy weekly softball games and picnics, before returning to the theater for their evening performances. John Effrat, an employee of the Actors Fund, then decided to establish a formal league in 1955, which was dubbed the Broadway Show League. Since then, the League has held regular Thursday afternoon games at Hecksher Fields, with teams made up of cast, crew, and orchestra members from both Broadway and Off-Broadway shows.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There are some small holes, see pics.
