Tag Brand: Champion

This vintage tee dates all the way back to the 1960s, as demonstrated by the rare Champion Running Man on the tag. Champion sportswear is a storied brand that originated back in 1919 as the Knickerbocker Knitting Company. They introduced the running man logo onto their tags in the 1940s, but the design was phased out after the Champion C logo was introduced.

This shirt reps Lyons Junior College, which eventually evolved into the College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois near Chicago. The school was established in the late 1920s, and it originally operated out of the third floor of Lyons Township High School in Cook County.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There are some small holes and some light discoloration under the arms, see pics.
