Adidas is the second largest sportswear brand in the world directly after Nike, and are known for their shoes, clothing, and accessories. They have hundreds of sponsorships with athletes across the world and from every imaginable sport, most notably the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB.
The multinational company was founded by Adolf Dassler after he and his brother, Rudolf, split their original shoe company, Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory, into two entities. Adolf owns Adidas, Rudolf owns Puma. This shirt features the original trefoil logo which was established after the 1952 Olympics. It was bought from a Finnish footwear company, Kahru Sports, and only cost two bottles of whiskey and 1600 euros. Adidas would continue to use this logo all the way up until 1998, after which it would be exclusively used on a line of clothing known as Adidas Originals.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. A hole and spot on the graphic, hole on the sleeve, see pics. This appears to have been a long sleeve shirt which was cut at the sleeves, see pics.
