This awesome raglan features a portrait of the late great Jerry Garcia, who was the beloved front man of the Grateful Dead. Garcia co-founded the band back in the 60s, alongside Bob Weir, Ron "Pigpen" McKernan, Phil Lesh, and Bill Kreutzmann. The group rose to prominence against the backdrop of the countercultural movement of the 1960s and they gained a dedicated following of fans who were affectionately dubbed deadheads.
Garcia remained a core member of the Grateful Dead right up until his death in 1995, however this shirt was made back in the 70s. Although the decade opened with the loss of Pigpen, the Dead persisted on and they formed their own record label in 1973. Throughout this period they also released several notable albums that included Wake of the Flood, Blues for Allah, and Steal Your Face.
The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small.
