This vintage radio tee was made all the way back in the 70s to promote the California radio station KTYD 99.9. The station first signed on in 1962, but it didn't adapt the KTYD call sign until 1973. The new call letters were accompanied by the introduction of a new progressive freeform radio format. The Santa Barbara-based station changed hands several times over the years, but it has always remained a rock station, typically broadcasting a classic rock format. KTYD is famous for having been the flagship home of the nationally syndicated program Dennis Mitchell's Breakfast with the Beatles, a program which exclusively highlighted the music of the Fab Four.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. This shirt is heavily distressed. Do not wash and be careful if wearing. The shirt is very thin with many holes, see pics.
