This sweet shirt commemorates the second ever running of the Chicago Marathon, also known as the Mayor Daley Marathon. The race was held in September of 1978, and despite high temperatures, more than 4,000 runners showed up to participate. First place in the men's category went to Mark Stanforth, while Lynae Larson took first for the women. This shirt also includes a graphic for the event sponsor from that year, Flair Merchandising Agency.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There is some very light discoloration under the arms, see pics.
