This sweet vintage t-shirt celebrates The Righteous Brothers, a musical duo consisting of Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield. The pair began performing together in 1962 as part of a five-member group called the Paramours before they embarked on their career as a duo. The pair's musical style has often been described as "blue-eyed soul" and they are probably best remembered for their 1964 recording of the song "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'". The song was their first breakout hit and it was followed by several other top ten songs including "Just Once in My Life", "Unchained Melody", and "(You're My) Soul and Inspiration".

This tee is from the 70s when the duo released their album Give It to the People from Haven Records. The Righteous Brothers had previously broken up in 1968, but in 1974 they announced their reunion on The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour. They recorded one other album together on Haven Records, during the decade. It was titled Sons of Mr. Righteous. They stopped performing together for some time, after the death of Medley's first wife, and they would not appear together again until a 1981 anniversary special on American Bandstand.
