This one of a kind black Rolling Stones t-shirt is an extremely rare find from the 70s! The back of the shirt includes the Rolling Stones' Lip and Tongue design above "Worlds Greatest Rock & Roll Band". The front design says "The Rolling Stones Live 78" in lightning bolt font, and beneath in cursive font "It's Only 'Rock 'n' Roll".

The Stones toured the US in 1978 behind their new album, Some Girls, following a schedule that they kept touring the USA every 3 years. During the tour the Stones were joined on stage by Linda Ronstadt, Sugar Blue, Doug Kershaw, Bobby Keys and Nicky Hopkins.  Other opening acts included Van Halen, Journey, Peter Tosh, Patti Smith, Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes, Foreigner, Kansas, Etta James and the Doobie Brothers.

At the time this was billed as their farewell tour, with a pared back stage show and more of a focus on the music. This tour was well received in the USA and is often cited as their best US tour.
