This shirt is a vintage keepsake from Sloppy Joe's Bar in Key West, Florida. Sloppy Joe's is famed for once being a regular hangout for some of the most renowned artists and writers of the early 20th century. Opened in 1933, the bar used to be a favorite hangout spot for Ernest Hemingway, who also brought around other legends like Waldo Pierce, JB Sullivan, John Dos Passos, and Henry Strater.
