This amazing double sided tee promotes the release of Sports Weekend (As Nasty as They Wanna Be Part II), the fifth studio album from the dirty rap hip hop group, 2 Live Crew. Released on October 8th, 1991, the album featured the lineup of David "Mr. Mixx" Hobbs, Chris "Fresh Kid Ice" Wong Won, Luther "Luke Skyywalker" Campbell, and Mark "Brother Marquis" Ross.

The album had been preceded by Banned in the USA, which was the first record to ever be labeled with the now familiar Parental Advisory warning label from the RIAA. By that point in their career, 2 Live Crew had become well known for their sexually explicit lyrics and themes, thanks to the success of their 1989 album As Nasty As They Wanna Be and its breakout single "Me So Horny", which sampled dialog from the films Which Way Is Up? and Full Metal Jacket. The song wound up generating a lot of controversy in the group's home state of Florida, and the album was eventually ruled obscene and illegal to sell by the US district court. Although this decision was later overturned in 1992 by the US Court of Appeals.

Sports Weekend was marketed as the sequel to the infamous As Nasty as They Wanna Be, and it also became the subject of obscenity charges and complaints that got the release pulled from some record stores. 2 Live Crew did release a clean version of the album as well, which they of course titled Sports Weekend (As Clean as They Wanna Be Part II).
