This sweet double sided tee commemorates an event called the Stanford Spring Jog-a-thon, and it's safe to assume that this was likely a fundraiser held at Stanford University in California. While the front of this tee highlights the jog-a-thon, the back sports a rainbow version of the famous Adidas trefoil logo, indicating that the sportswear brand was likely a sponsor of the event.
During the 80s, Adidas was a popular sponsor for a myriad of events that ranged from sports camps to benefit walks, and commemorative shirts were often seen adorned with the rainbow trefoil. However, they became a hot commodity once Adidas decided to update their logo in 1991. After using the trefoil for nearly two decades, Adidas decided to introduce a three-bar design that they dubbed the equipment logo.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. This shirt is soft and thin with some light discoloration throughout, see pics.
