This sweet vintage tour shirt is for the awesome thrash metal band Anthrax from their Road to Euphoria Tour in that was launched in 1988. The tour was to promotes the band's fourth studio album State of Euphoria. Around that same time Anthrax supported Iron maiden on their Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour and they opened for Ozzy Osbourne during his No Rest for the Wicked Tour as well as Metallica on their Damaged Justice Tour. A year later, the band headlined the Headbangers Ball Tour and then went on tour with Suicidal Tendencies, King's X, and M.O.D.

State of Euphoria was produced with help from Mark Dodson, who the band hired because of his work with Judas Priest and Metal Church. The album featured the songs "Misery Loves Company" which was inspired by Stephen King's novel Misery and "Now It's Dark" which was inspired by the movie Blue Velvet by David Lynch. It also included "Antisocial" which was a cover of a song originally recorded by the French band Trust. "Antisocial" received heavy rotation on the MTV program Headbanger's Ball so it was no surprise when the band headlined the tour named after the program. MTV also launched a contest in which the winner got to have the band trash their home. The back cover of the album, as well as this t-shirt feature a caricature of the band drawn by Mort Drucker who is known for his illustrations for MAD Magazine.

The tag says extra large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large. There are several holes see, pics.
