This awesome double sided tee is a Crazy Shirts original from the 80s, and it features some delightful cartoon kitties from the artist B. Kliban. Kliban was an American cartoonist that spent much of his career working for Playboy Magazine, but he is perhaps best remembered for his Fat Cat drawings. It was actually Playboy's cartoon editor, Michelle Urry, who encouraged Kliban to publish his numerous cat drawings. She introduced him to an agent that helped him publish the 1975 book Cat, which was a compilation of his charming feline illustrations.  

Fat Cat later appeared on various merchandise, including t-shirts printed by the influential graphic tee brand Crazy Shirts. This particular tee depicts Fat Cat vacationing in the popular New England destination of Martha's Vineyard. It pays tribute to the island's world-class saltwater fishing by depicting Fat Cat proudly standing next to an impressive catch.
