This cool tee looks to be a souvenir from a little road-side restaurant in Springfield, Illinois called Cozy Dog Drive In, and it features the same cartoon hot dog couple that appears on the Cozy Dog In sign. Cozy Dog is said to be the originator of the popular treat, cornbread-battered hot dogs on a stick. Many people know this delicacy as corn dogs, however Cozy Dog founder Ed "Buzz" Waldmire claims to have invented the snack under a different name before it was ever marketed elsewhere as a corn dog. Waldmire gained local attention by offering his signature cozy dogs at the Illinois State Fair before opening a small stand outside his house in 1946. Since then, Cozy Dog has grown into a popular tourist attraction along Route 66. Tourists stop in to sign the guest book, buy a few souvenirs, and of course enjoy a cozy dog.

The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small.
