This vintage racing shirt reps NASCAR driver David Allison and the shirt shows off the #28 Havoline Ford he drove for Robert Yates Racing. The car was sponsored by Texaco and the shirt also features the Texaco star logo. Allison was a part of the group of NASCAR racers based out of Hueytown, known as the Alabama Gang. Allison started strong in his career, earning the 1987 Winston Cup Series Rookie of the Year award. In 1992 he won the Daytona 500, and even had a chance at snatching the Winston Million and the Winston Cup, although he instead landed in the number 3 position. The following year Allison was tragically killed in a helicopter crash on his way to Talladega Superspeedway.
