This awesome tee is a souvenir from Disneyland in 1986. This shirt celebrates the premiere weekend of Captain EO and it proudly boasts, "I was there".  Captain EO was essentially one of the first 4D film attractions to ever be made. It featured a 3D film starring the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, and the film was punctuated with special in-theater effects like lasers and fog. The movie was directed by the acclaimed Francis Ford Coppola, and in addition to Jackson, it also starred Dick Shawm, Tony Cox, and Anjelica Huston.

The attraction featured two new, original songs performed by Jackson, and the attraction was temporarily revived after its initial run. Captain EO returned to Disney Parks in 2010, as a tribute honoring Jackson's death.
