This sweet t-shirt is a Hobie tee. Hobie Surf Shop sells clothes, kayaks, shoes, luggage, skateboards, surfboards, planes, and is most famously known for their catamarans. The company was founded in 1950 by Hobie Alter, who was a surfer and woodworker. Their first shop was opened in 1954 at Dana Point in Southern California, and they were the first to use polyurethane foam and polyester resin to make surfboards, once quality balsa wood became scarce.
