This awesome shirt was made for the band Iron Maiden and their World Piece Tour, and it features a sweet graphic of the band's skeletal mascot, Eddie. Launched in 1983, the World Piece Tour was designed to promote the group's fourth studio album, Piece of Mind. This was an exciting endeavor, as it marked the band's first full headlining tour, and it also introduced fans to the group's new drummer Nicko McBrain.
The previous year, Iron Maiden released their first album to reach #1 in the UK, The Number of the Beast, and Piece of Mind wound up continuing the band's critical and commercial success. It made it to the top ten in several countries, and eventually became certified platinum in both the UK and the US. The World Piece Tour then saw the band play 147 concerts across North America and Europe, including a sold out show at Madison Square Garden.
This perfectly set the stage for their next concert tour, which remains their largest tour to date, the World Slavery Tour. The band played a total of 193 shows in 28 countries, to promote their album Powerslave, which included the singles "2 Minutes to Midnight" and "Aces High".
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are some small spots and a hole on the back, see pics.
