This sweet concert tee is for the incomparable Joan Jett and her band the Blackhearts. The shirt celebrates a world tour that the group embarked on in the early 80s, around the time that Jett released her second record with the Blackhearts, titled Album. This 1983 release was the first one from the artist to feature a majority of original songs, rather than covers. In fact, only two covers were included, one of which was the track "I Love Playing With Fire", from Jett's previous band the Runaways.

Album was subsequently followed by the record Glorious Results of a Misspent Youth, as well as a string of top 40 hits. It was around this time that Joan Jett and the Blackhearts were also playing sold old tours alongside acts like the Police, Queen, and Aerosmith. The rockstar then rounded out the 80s with the multi-platinum album Up Your Alley, a record that is best remembered for the hit song "I Hate Myself for Loving You".
