This cool vintage sweatshirt features a graphic of a majestic bald eagle underneath the slogan "Live Free or Die". The slogan is actually the official motto of the state of New Hampshire, which is where this shirt is from. It was adopted by the state in 1945 from a toast written by General John Stark, a famous soldier from the American Revolutionary War. The full quote from Stark read, "Live free or die: Death is not the worst of evils". The motto appears on the State Emblem of New Hampshire which also depicts The Old Man of the Mountain, a landmark found in the cliff ledges of the Cannon Mountain in Franconia.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are several holes along the back of the neck, see pics.
