This sweet vintage shirt was awarded to a finisher of the 1988 Long Beach Marathon in California. A graphic on the sleeve also denotes that this edition of the marathon was part of the centennial celebrations for Long Beach, which had been incorporated in 1897. Held on May 1st, the race was estimated to have more than 3,000 participants, including runners from around the world. In fact, two international participants took first place in the men's and women's categories. They were Dianna Rodger Zorn from Australia, and Naek Sagala of Indonesia.
