This cool long sleeve tee commemorates the 1986 University of Louisville Cardinals basketball team's March Madness final four appearance. The Cardinals played the Louisiana State University Tigers in the NCAA Tournament's semi-finals game in Houston Texas. They won the game 88-77 and went on to play the Duke University Blue Devils for the championship. The Cardinals narrowly won the championship game 72-69. This was the team's first national title since their win against UCLA in 1980 and their second NCAA Tournament title overall. Cardinals' center Pervis Ellison was voted the MVP and this was only the second time in NCAA history that a freshmen was given this honor.
