This cool tee promotes New Coke and it encourages you to "C-C-C-catch the Wave!" The shirt features Max Headroom, a unique television personality that was introduced in the mid 80s. Max was marketed as "the first computer-generated TV presenter", but he was in fact portrayed by a real life actor named Matt Frewer. To create Max's CGI appearance, Frewer was placed in front of a blue screen and adorned with prosthetic makeup. Editors then used a harmonizer in post to create Max's signature glitchy speech pattern.

Max made his debut in the British made-for-TV movie, Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future. The character was then given two different television series, one which matched the more dramatic cyberpunk tone of the original movie, and one that portrayed Max as an upbeat music video jockey.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There are small holes on the front, see pics.
