The album's title and the use of a pentagram on the cover attracted the attention of both conservative Christian groups and hard rock fans. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe group was invited to perform alongside Ozzy Osbourne during his tour for \u003cem\u003eBark at the Moon\u003c\/em\u003e. They were also placed on the bill for the 1984 Monsters of Rock festival, which was being headlined by Van Halen and AC\/DC. Things got complicated however, when the other band's took issue with Motley Crue's wild backstage behavior. By that point, the band had become too popular to be expelled from the festival, so instead they were relegated to their trailer whenever they weren't performing.
