This sweet vintage ringer commemorates the Northern United States Karate Championships. There's not a lot of info surrounding the details of this exact tournament, but this shirt was made in the 80s, during the American Karate boom. It was during the 70s, that martial arts cinema first began attracting mainstream western audiences, and this was especially thanks to Bruce Lee's posthumous hit, Enter the Dragon.
