This awesome double-sided concert tee is for the heavy metal rock band Ratt and the shirt commemorates their 1989 tour promoting the album Reach for the Sky. During the tour the band played alongside other glam metal groups like Great White, Warrant, and Kix.
Released in 1988, Reach for the Sky managed to reach platinum status and it featured the popular singles "Way Cool Jr." and "I Want a Woman". In order to give the album further attention, the band wound up using the track "What's It Gonna Be" as a B-side for the lead single on their next album Detonator. The hope was that fans would hear the B-side and decide to go back and give Reach for the Sky another listen.
Ratt was first founded back in 1977, although they didn't have much commercial success until the 80s. The band became known for their signature hits "Round and Round" and "Lay It Down". They were considered instrumental in the development of the 1980s Los Angeles metal scene which included other iconic groups like Motley Crue, LA Guns, and Guns N' Roses. Prior to the release of Reach for the Sky, Ratt toured with a newcomer to the LA metal scene, Poison. Their 1987 tour together wound up being one of the highest-grossing concert tours of the year.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small.
