This amazing shirt pays tribute to the iconic new school hip hop group Run-DMC. The shirt celebrates their 1985 album King of Rock, and the back features the opening lyrics to the album's title track, which it credits to Jam Master Jay. Run-DMC was formed in Queens, New York in 1983 and other members included Joseph "Run" Simmons and Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels. Their self-titled debut was released in 1984, and from there they quickly proved to be pioneers of the golden age of hip hop.

King of Rock became one of the earliest rap albums to achieve platinum certification, and in addition to its title song, it featured the singles "Jam-Master Jammin'", "You Talk Too Much", and "Can You Rock It Like This". Several songs were also featured in the Warner Bros. movie Krush Groove, which was loosely based on the early career of Russell Simmons, who produced the group's first three albums. Run-DMC also played themselves in the movie, and they appeared alongside other hip hop legends like Kurtis Blow, LL Cool J, and the Beasties Boys. The latter would also later tour alongside the group for the 1987 Together Forever Tour, which helped promote the followup to King of Rock, Raising Hell.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. This shirt is faded with some holes along the bottom front, see pics.
