This funny vintage shirt is a cheeky souvenir from South of the Border, a roadside attraction found along I-95 and US-301 in Hamer, South Carolina. The stop's name was inspired by its location just south of the border between North and South Carolina, and the attraction is themed around America's southern neighbor of Mexico. Opened back in 1949, the spot originated as a beer depot catering to residents of the adjacent dry county of Robeson, North Carolina. Over time the attraction expanded greatly to include things like a restaurant, souvenir shop, arcade, and small amusement park. South of the Border also eventually opened a motel as well, which is the part this shirt was most likely made in reference of. The tee shows a couple enjoying some heated activities under a sombrero, and says, "it's more fun under a sombrero".

The tag says extra large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large
