The shirt shows off a sunset image of a jockey riding a race horse with the tag line "The Race Is On!" This same phrase was used as the title of a 1964 country music hit recorded by George Jones. The song became the title track of an album that Jones released the following year, and it compares the singer's romantic endeavors to the trials of horse racing. This shirt was made in the 80s when a version of the song was recorded by rockabilly artist Dave Edmunds and the Stray Cats.
