This amazing tee is a keepsake from the 1983 US Festival. This was the second of two US musical festivals that were held in San Bernardino, California in the early 80s. Both iterations were funded by Apple Inc. co-founder, Steve Wozniak, who wanted to create a community oriented event centered around both technology and rock music.
For the 1983 Festival, Wozniak teamed up with the Barry Fey, a notable concert promoter based out of Colorado. The event was staged over Memorial Day Weekend, and each day was based around a different sub-genre of rock. The back of this tee features the lineup of the participating artists, which included The Clash, Men At Work, Stray Cats, The English Beat, Flock of Seagulls, Oingo Boingo, Wall of Voodoo, INXS, Divinyls, Van Halen, Scorpions, Triumph, Judas Priest, Ozzy Osbourne, Joe Walsh, Motley Crue, David Bowie, Stevie Nicks, John Mellencamp, Pretenders, Missing Persons, U2, Quarterflash, Berlin, and Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul.
Fits like a modern unisex adult small. This shirt is deadstock, unworn.
