This cool tee commemorates the 1989 US Olympic Festival that was held in Oklahoma City. The US Olympic Festival was a multi-sport event organized by the United States Olympic Committee, and it was devised to help American athletes thrive and develop their skills during the years in between the Olympic Games. First held in 1978, the festival was intended to keep US athletes on par with their international competitors, but the event was ended in 1995, after it was decided that it was no longer vital.
