This gray t-shirt is from the American rock band Utopia, formed by Todd Rundgren in 1973. The band originally played progressive rock and later transitioned to pop and rock. The shirt is from the band's 1981 Swing to the Right tour, which was in support of their album of the same name. Despite the album being recorded and the tour starting in 1981, the album wasn't released until 1982. The album was supposed to be released in June of '81, but the band's record label, Bearsville Records, was reluctant to put out the album due to it's overtly political and religious themes. The band toured the songs from the album for a full year in protest of the record company and asked fans to petition for the album's release. The album features singles "Lysistrata", "One World", and "For the Love of Money", which featured Kenneth Gamble, Leon Huff, and Anthony Jackson. The shirt features the band's name and a multicolor graphic on the front and has the text "Swing to the Right Tour 1981" across the back.
