This awesome 80s muscle tee is decked out in black and white stripes in honor of the band Zebra. Founded in New Orleans in the mid 70s, Zebra consisted of Randy Jackson, Felix Hanemann and Guy Gelso. The trio later moved to New York, where they became a notable part of the local Long Island music scene. Eventually their major label debut came in 1983 with an eponymous album that was released by Atlantic Records.

The album was produced by Jack Douglas, who had worked with other notable musicians like Patti Smith and the New York Dolls. It became their most commercially successful release, peaking at number 29 on the Billboard 200, and spawning the popular radio hits "Who's Behind the Door?" and "Tell Me What You Want".

The tag says extra large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large. There is some light discoloration under the arms, see pics.
