This sweet double sided shirt is for Big the Musical, which was a stage adaptation of the popular 1988 Tom Hanks film of the same name. Just like the movie, the musical centered on a 12 year-old boy who makes an unwitting wish that transforms him into an adult overnight. Big made its Broadway debut at the Shubert Theatre in 1996. However, despite multiple Tony Award nominations, the Broadway version was a financial failure. This encouraged the creative team to make several modifications and rewrites, and the musical managed to be much more successful during its national tour.
