This sweet shirt features a portrait of the talented Billie Holiday. The Philadelphia-born singer began performing in Harlem nightclubs at the end of the 1920s, and it was there that she met John Hammond, who helped Holiday make her recording debut with the "King of Swing" Benny Goodman. Hammond also connected her with Teddy Wilson, and together the two recorded "What a Little Moonlight Can Do", which went on to become a Jazz standard.

Holiday enjoyed a prolific career throughout the 30s and 40s, and she's fondly remembered as one of the greatest jazz singers of the era. While she died of liver failure at the young age of only 44, Holiday's legacy still endures to this day. She was posthumously honored with inductions into the Grammy Hall of Fame, Ertegun Jazz Hall of Fame, and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She also was the subject of the award-winning biopic Lady Sings the Blues, in which she was portrayed by another legendary female artist, Diana Ross.

Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There's some fading around the collar, see pics.
