This amazing tee celebrates one of the hottest teen dramas of the 90s, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Unlike other typical teen shows, Buffy combined the melodrama of everyday adolescence with exciting supernatural elements, and it was initially based on the 1992 comedy of the same name. The show was created by Joss Whedon, who had also written the script for the film, however the series corrected several things that Whedon disliked about the movie. Whedon's original intention for the Buffy script was to subvert common horror tropes concerning female victims, and he went into the show with the hope of creating a narrative brimming with female empowerment.
