The Bulls were indeed the most impressive NBA team of the 1990s, earning two three-peats before the end of the decade. This shirt makes reference to their first three-peat, which began with their first NBA championship of the decade in 1991. Their 1996 victory wound up being the start of their second three-peat, and during the 1996 season, they also set a new record for the most wins during an NBA regular season.

The Bulls' season began with the addition of three new team members: Randy Brown, James Edwards, and Dennis Rodman.
