This amazing tee was made in honor of the Grateful Dead's 1991 performance at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The concert took place on June 1st, and just like every show performed by the Dead, it was entirely unique it terms of its set list and the improvisations it featured. The Grateful Dead are famous for pioneering the jam band genre, as they built much of their career around their improvisation-heavy live performances.

The LA Coliseum show opened with a rendition of "Shakedown Street", the title track of their tenth studio album. While the song wasn't one of their more common openers, it did feel appropriate considering the way Deadheads had adopted the term Shakedown Street to refer to the colorful midway-like collection of vendors and patrons that would congregate around Grateful Dead shows. The song lasted nearly seventeen minutes before the Dead transitioned into "Walkin Blues", and then the iconic classic, "Bertha". Like many Dead performances, the concert was documented by a handful of fans and recordings can be found floating around the internet and beyond. Few other bands have a history that has been as meticulously archived as the Grateful Dead, which makes this tee all the more special as it remains a testament to the dedication of the Deadhead community.
