This awesome tee pays tribute to the celebrated 1950s sitcom, The Honeymooners created by Jackie Gleason. The series also starred Gleason as the main character Ralph Kramden, and it was based on a recurring comedy sketch that he used to perform as part of his variety television series. The Honeymooners is remembered for being one of the first sitcoms to feature a non-idealized portrayal of working class Americans, and Gleason specifically sought to create a show that realistically depicted what life was like for blue-collar couples living in his home borough of Brooklyn, New York.  

In addition to Gleason, The Honeymooners starred Audrey Meadows as Alice Kramden, Art Carney as Ed Norton, and Joyce Randolph as Trixie Norton. The series also became the inspiration for another iconic television show, The Flintstones.
