This amazing vintage muscle tee pays tribute to the band Jane's Addiction with a full front graphic of the cover from their second studio album Ritual de lo Habitual. Although the 1990 album was only their second studio release, it also wound up being their last for more than ten years. The album proved to be a huge critical and commercial success, but that wasn't enough to soothe the growing tensions within the band, and these tensions were exacerbated considerably during the album's lengthy promotional tour.
Founding members Perry Farrell and Eric Avery had already clashed over royalties, and their relationship became even more strained after Avery got sober. Thus the Ritual de lo Habitual tour was believed to be their farewell tour, although it also became the start of the annual Lollapalooza music festival, which has since become one of the most celebrated showcases of alternative music of all time. During the inaugural festival, Jane's Addiction performed with notable bands like Nine Inch Nails, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Living Colour, the Butthole Surfers, and Body Count, but the group couldn't even make it through the first show of the tour without a fight breaking out between Farrell and guitarist Dave Navarro.
In the end, Ritual de lo Habitual wound up being the end of the band, until a brief reunion tour in 1997. Despite this, the album is considered a seminal classic of 90s alternative rock. It also spawned some of Jane's Addiction's best loved songs, most notably the singles "Stop!" and "Been Caught Stealing".
The tag says large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small.
