This terrific tee commemorates Jaromir Jagr's stint with the Pittsburgh Penguins during the 1990s. It features a large, graphic of Jagr mid-game.
Jagr started his NHL career at 18 years old when he was drafted as a 5th round pick by the Penguins, which turned out to be one of the best choices the team could have made. He helped the Penguins win two consecutive Stanley Cups in the early 90s. Jagr continued to help the team make it to the playoffs perrenially and he served as captain of the Pittsburgh Penguins toward the end of the decade.
When Jagr was drafted, he was the youngest player in the NHL and, until his transfer to the Czech Republic hockey league the EHL when he was 45, he was the oldest player in the league. Jagr's had one of the longest careers in the history of professional hockey and has the second-most points in NHL history, which is why he is widely considered to be one of the best hockey players of all time. Jagr is also a member of the Triple Gold Club, which is for players who have played for teams that have won the Stanley Cup, the Ice Hockey World Championships, and the Olympic Gold Medal.
