He drove the DuPont sponsored car for Hendrick Motorsports, and Gordan would later go on to become the organization's vice chairman.

Gordon is known among many NASCAR fans as one of the greatest stock car racers of all time. He is a four-time Cup Series champion, and he also has 93 career wins under his belt. Gordon earned his first ever Winston Cup title in 1995, by beating out another legendary driver, Dale Earnhardt.
