This sweet big print tee reps the professional hockey team the Los Angeles Kings. The LA team was created in 1967, after business mogul, Jack Kent Cooke was granted an NHL expansion franchise for the city. Throughout the 70s and 80s, the Kings managed to be perennial playoff contenders but they were consistently barred from advancing much farther in the post-season. However, their luck changed in 1988 when they acquired hockey legend, Wayne Gretzky.

This shirt is from the 90s, during which Gretzky and fellow Hall of Fame players, Luc Robitaille and Rob Blake helped lead the franchise to their first ever division title during the 1990-1991 season. Later on the Kings made their first ever Stanley Cup Finals appearance in 1993 against the Montreal Canadiens. During this era, the Kings' success helped to boost the popularity of hockey in the LA area.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There is a repair on the back near the collar, see pics.
